Another Short Weekend

jon_chaissonWell, shortish at any rate. I've been working Saturday mornings at the shop (part of my bookkeeping duties) but it gets me out at 1pm so I still have the rest of the day to do whatever, even if it's doing errands and whatnot. And considering that our building's washing machine is still not working correctly (it should be fixed this Thursday, last I heard), I spent part of this morning kicking back at the laundromat to do our laundry while A stayed at home to make apple sauce and wait for a package from IKEA. Which alas contained broken items, but they should hopefully be sending replacements soon.
What about the writing, though? Yeah, I've been kind of distracted by other things this past week and hardly got anything done other than some cutting and pasting, but I'm hoping I can rectify that this coming week. Granted, part of last week's schedule contained three midday shifts that didn't provide all that much time for me to work on MU4, but this week's is much better, with only one midday shift and the rest all mornings.
Still, I need to get my butt in gear, because this novel ain't going anywhere without me putting in the work!
