queenoftheskies and my other writer friends out there looking to shop around their wares:
Angry Robot Books just announced their latest Open Door for submissions! I've resonated with a lot of their stuff so I'm interested in sending the trilogy their way.
It's running until 12/31, so you have two months to get that manuscript all tidy, but I think it would definitely be worth it. :)

(I haven't forgotten your novel. Work has been INSANE!!!! I should have time to read this weekend...at least Sunday, if I have to work tomorrow. Will be finished soon.)

Date: 2013-10-25 03:51 pm (UTC)I think the stuff that I wanted to fix (a few chronological issues and some wonky grammar) is later on in the book, and they just want the first five chapters, so I think I'm good. I'll give it another once-over before I send it out.
The *real* hard part is going to be getting the synopsis down to two pages... :p
Go for it! You've got two months, I'm sure you could get one of yours in. :)
