Been awhile since I've done a picture post, so here's a small handful from my recent uploads...

(btw, the top pic is one of many bits of odd sidewalk writings in and around the city...this one's just down the street from Pho Garden.)

Wooded path between Wedemeyer Street and Lincoln Blvd at the southwestern edge of the Presidio. Emm and I took a walk here a few weeks back. The path continued across Lincoln and down to Baker Beach, where it wound through some quiet wooded areas and overgrown stuff like this:

And speaking of Baker Beach, I did find this view a bit surprising...didn't think I'd see sand dunes and the GGB all in one go!

Late last month we did a trip to the SF Zoo, with a side trip first to Luis' Restaurant, up the hill from the Cliff House. Behind Luis' you can see this, where the famed Sutro Baths were. (For you reading nerds, this is also where Marcus distributes his hacking program in Cory Doctorow's Little Brother.)

Later at the Zoo, we said hi to the lions:

A week or so later, more walking, this time in another part of the Presidio...we found the Spire, a wood scuplture that signifies the park's replanting of trees in the area:
