Is it me or do a lot of indie album covers nowadays look worse than the cut-up, out-of-focus pictures we used on our own TFB tapes?

Or am I just getting old?

[Oh, and PS, I haven't given up on the TFB music postings, I just never got around to them. I'll try to get some more posted this month, considering the 22nd is coming up...]

Desktop publishing killed DIY album covers. A talentless hack can do beautiful things with a pair of scissors, a National Geographic, a 50-year-old typewriter, a printout from a newspaper microfiche and a xerox machine. (I know, because I did!) But give the same talentless hack a computer, and All Will Be Revealed.

Yeah, true...a lot of it does look like it was thrown together in Photoshop by someone not too familiar with it...
