BeeeeYOOOtiful day out today, so we drove to GGP today and hung out at the Botanical Gardens for a few hours, taking pictures, enjoying the sights and the smells. Great place to take pictures!
Some flowery close-ups...a method I shamelessly stole from
emmalyon :p

If I had a frog pond and a back yard, I'd totally have a deck like this. Comfy chair, a good book, maybe some ice coffee...yeah, I'd like that. ;)

Quiet path, I believe in the Australian section...there's a lot of these there, where you just find yourself drawn away from the paved walkways and through stretches like this. Very calming and nice.

A bench on one of those paths...looks like it hadn't been used in a while, as there's grass/moss growing on it! This one's currently my PC's wallpaper...

And one last one--this is a view from a path terminating at the top of a hill overlooking a big grass lawn (and that's Sutro Tower in the background). Very quiet and beautiful up there...we hung out for a bit, reading and enjoying the weather and the birdsongs. And the occasional hummingbird checking out some flowers about eight feet away! :p
