Can't say I'm surprised by Circuit City closing. The service at the local store went down the toilet when Best Buy showed up. Although, I think that was more a function of locality than anything else.

They just didn't adapt much over the years while Best Buy blew their doors off. Another company will come along in the next few years and fill their niche, but Best Buy will be the market leader for quite some time.
