For those of you who enjoy reading music blogs, I always suggest PopDose, which is sort of a collective of former music bloggers putting together a fun and creative Rolling Stone-like online magazine that covers all sorts of music genres.
This year two its creators, Jason Hare & Jeff Giles, brought back their annual coverage of The Best of Mellowmas--that is, the best (sort of) (okay, the most painful) Christmas-themed mellow gold you could think of.
(This, by the way, is the same duo that came up last year with the best review ever, this time about a Jim Nabors album: "You know what this song needs? A belch.")
Well this year, they've outdone themselves. Not only have they kicked off with their own theme song for this series, they've got Alan freakin' O'Day performing it. Yes, Alan "Undercover Angel" O'Day.
AWESOME. ;)
