A. List seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself.
B. Tag seven people to do the same.
C. Do not tag the person who tagged you or say that you tag "whoever wants to do it."
1. QUIRK: I have a weird habit of gurning every now and again, whether or not anyone's around.
2. HABIT: I have been putting a writing pad in my back pocket since the early 80s, which is the primary reason I don't have (or need/want) a PDA or a Blackberry.
3. FACT/QUIRK: I have drawn made-up maps since I was a little kid making roads in the sandlot. I now draw them in notebooks and have quite the collection. I don't do it for any other reasons than to pass the time, or for novel-writing purposes.
4. FACT: I own over thirty-six thousand mp3s. I used to own over six thousand titles in my music collection, before I gave up my vinyl and cassettes (and most of my CDs) and went digital to save space.
5. FACT/QUIRK?: I am fascinated by the coding language used in banking files at my job and find some of them rather easy to read. I'm rather surprised by this (as are a few of my coworkers), especially since I'm definitely not a coding-minded sort of person.
6. FACT: I am a big Beatles fan; I have seen Paul live, I met George, and have gone to Strawberry Fields in Central Park in honor of John. Ringo is the only Beatle I haven't seen/met/had any sort of contact with.
7. HABIT/QUIRK: I am a sucker for wordplay, but don't spout bad puns as often as I used to. However, I will use onomatopoeia whenever I can, and I consistently crack up my coworkers when I come across a banking acronym that hasn't been pronounced as a word and do so almost immediately.
