Took out REM's And I Feel Fine...The Best of the IRS Years 1982-1987 from the local library the other day...

I've forgotten how much I really loved early REM. A deStipel if you will. I think I'm going to add some to my mp3 player to listen to on the way to and from work. :)

Which reminds me...I know I have mini speakers here somewhere...will have to find them so I can listen to said player while at work! :)


Note: I didn't make 'deStipel' up--one of my friends from high school did way back in the day. Please don't hurt me. :p

I saw REM on the Monster tour. It is the only time that I have been to a concert and have felt a complete sense of awe at being in the same room with the artist, breathing the same air.
