I have no Fluff here!!! X(

Can someone from back east send us some?? (well, Emm suggested we order some from Peanut Butter & Co, so we can always do that instead...) I just realized that is one thing I'm seriously missing from back home lately... :p

It's kinda sad walking through the peanut butter & jelly aisle at Safeway and not seeing the famous white and blue jar with the red top... :p

ETA: On a somewhat related note, I'm finding myself paraphrasing Harlan Ellison lately, in terms of "I have no [blank] and I must scream." In this case, I Have no Fluff and I Must Scream. Methinks this sounds like a meme waiting to happen...

Okay, that is SO weird. I was describing a marshmallow fluff sandwich to someone YESTERDAY. And I was specifically saying that one must use Marshmallow Fluff, not just any marshmallow spread. How VERY odd!

Like I said to Lynx? The full moon. Yes.

Ugh. I had a roommate from OKC once who was a Fluffernutter afficianado. I never quite got the appeal. I am not a fan of sweet.

That's a good price, you would have to order a case of 12 16oz tubs to get the same price from the actual company! http://www.fluffernutter.com/pages/order_by_credit.html

See and that's weird, because I grew up in OKC and never even heard of the stuff until I moved to Boston, and I really only heard of it because it is the official sandwhich of MA.

You can't find it in the local stores?

You can get it here in Seattle, although I've noticed it's not always as easy to find as it was when I was a kid.

Yum. Now I want some, too. And Nutella.

Nutella with fluff = heaven.

I must have thrown out 3 jars of it when I moved. All yours. Should have brought them with you!

I only remember buying one. The other 2 must be [livejournal.com profile] inochinoakari's...besides, I usually wait to finish one and then throw it out before buying another one!

I don't think she ever purchased any.

Knowing this crowd, you should probably specify that you want jars or plastic containers of it, and not just a manilla envelope full of Fluff...

(c'mon! I couldn't have been the only one thinking it!)

Somehow I expected you to give me the price rundown of Fluff, and I thank you! ;)

Chances are we're going to order some from PB&C, because there's some peanut butter Emm wants to get at some point.

If ever we skip down to the much larger Safeway on Market and Church (or the one in the Mission), we'll look, but so far I haven't seen it anywhere. Nutella, on the other hand, I see everywhere, but I'm not the biggest fan of that...

Believe what you want, I'm betting the Fluff has caused memory problems in you, which is why you only remember buying one jar.

See? Mental Illness brought on by Fluff consumption.

You are welcome! :)

Apparently there is a distributor in Laguna Hills, a looooong way away from you, who is a source of fluff according to the fluff website.

http://www.marshmallowfluff.com/pages/Fluff_Finder.cfm

This was all I could pull up on them on a quick search.
http://www.manta.com/comsite5/bin/pddnb_company.pl?pdlanding=1&referid=3550&id=gq9m4k

You could always give them a call and see what stores they supply with it, maybe there is a hidden gem nearby where you could buy it locally!

I don't like salty or greasy, either.

I know. I'm seeking treatment.
