[Writing] Playing with the laptop

I think one of the things I like about this laptop, specifically with it having Windows 8, is that it causes me to take a few more steps going from MS Word to anywhere else. Yes, this is actually a good thing. I like the fact that I don't have the bottom toolbar, so if I want to be distracted by the internets (or anything else for that matter), I need to either move the cursor to one of the screen corners, or toggle the Windows key. They're minor moves that I can get used to, but this obstacle is just enough for me to think twice about switching screens. Do I really want to start toggling so I can waste time looking at pointless things on the internet? Do I want to start toggling so I can waste time with a few games of Solitaire?

More to the point, do I want to toggle so I can lose track of time, and then feel like an idiot when I realize I spent a half hour looking at cat gifs and fifteen minutes on actual writing?

So yeah. I like that I need to work for my leisure on this thing. :)
