Oh, and...

...after emmalyon went above and beyond and bought me a Nook Color for Christmas, she said that I pretty much got everything I wanted in electronic toys, so for my birthday she was going to get me sticks and stones.

She just handed me a pair of chopsticks and a polished stone from the hotel we stayed at last week.

So yes, a slightly longer version of what I'd posted on Twitter moments ago...would any experienced knitters out there in LJ land know what the most and least flammable yarns are out there? After a brief conversation with emmalyon on it, it seems wool would be the least, acrylic would just melt and be stinky, and any plant-based would probably go up quick. I have a character awakening her pyrokinetic powers and at this point I'm just working out the physics of an idea and want to be sure that it's doable.
