--Thanks to family, both mine and Emm's! Always fun hearing from you, even though you're on the other side of the country!

--Thanks to my internet friends out there, who put up with my occasional bouts of reminiscing, bloviating about music, or just whining, along with the poetry and fiction snippets I post. I'm glad the internet has been able to keep me connected with friends far and wide, because I'm not the most consistent emailer!

--Thanks to my fellow writers out there, both professional and just starting out, who keep me going. I may still occasionally feel like I'm hopelessly average, but you all motivate and inspire me to keep going. I wouldn't have gotten better if it wasn't for you guys and gals.

--Most importantly, thanks and love go to emmalyon, who puts up with all my weird and sometimes annoying habits, cooks me delicious meals and treats (did I mention we're having pecan butter tarts for dessert today??), enjoys football more than I do, knits me warm things to wear, gets me off my butt when I need to get moving, and all sorts of other things that makes my life not only great but a lot more interesting. She's got my number, she always will.

Christmas season started early this year!
