D'OH! I forgot to post this yesterday. This one's a REAL tough one, since there are quite a few songs that remind me of somewhere, or at least a point in my life when I lived in a certain place. I'm sure most of you have seen my RTS posts about that in the past. I was torn between Ned's Atomic Dustbin's "Stuck" or Oasis' "Roll With It" (reminders of my Allston apartment in '95), Belle & Sebastian's "The Boy with the Arab Strap" (reminder of writing down in the Belfry), or Jesus Jones' "Move Mountains" (reminder of a trip with Amie and [livejournal.com profile] head58 to Maine), but I believe I've already commented on those in the past.

So I'll post a song I think I only posted once before, one that reminds me of two places--working at HMV, and hearing it on the radio on the commute to it:

Jonatha Brooke's "Crumbs" (from her 10 Cent Wings album) came out in 1997, about the time I started writing The Phoenix Effect out in the mall foodcourt before work, and one of those adult alternative stations (92-point-something, The River I think it was) used to play this a lot. A great and underrated song.
