Well, hell.
So I'm having lunch and I bite down on something hard, and my mind immediately goes "aaah, shit". Not because there was something in the tuna fish I had, but that a piece of one of my teeth just broke off. The front part, mind you. The tooth is on the side, but it certainly shows if I smile. It's sad that that's the first reaction I have, not 'omg what did I eat'. Sure, I'll admit that my eating habits have never been the best, and I grew up eating what amounted to sugar-coated sugary things with sugar sprinkled on it. I've gotten better, but there's definitely room for improvement.
Do I want to blame some of the dentists I've gone to in the past? Sure I do. I've gone to a number of them complaining of toothaches that turned out to be infections that they didn't catch last time, and root canals done ON THE SAME TOOTH over the course of six years or so. And I've had fillings that lasted a mere few months and had to have them redone since they did such a crappy job.
*sigh*
Well, time to look up some dentists. Luckily
emmalyon's health plan covers it.
