Wakey Wakey
Apr. 23rd, 2007 06:44 amRandom bits for a Monday morning...
--I have to sit a certain way at my desk because the sun is just rising and shining quite brightly through one of the slits of the blinds in front of me.
--Note to self: cut down on prepositions
--I worked on Saturday from 6am to 2pm, so this means that I can take this Wednesday off. Which worked out fine, because I have a phone interview for BofA on that day, so I can take the interview from home. I'm trying out for the Help Desk position that recently opened.
--Saturday was slow...I got a lot of reading done during the first 2 hours (I think I got about 4 calls during that time). Got a little busier later, but not enough to worry about it. I don't think there was ever more than 5 or 6 calls waiting in the queue at any time.
--On a related note, SF at 5:30ish in the morning on Saturday is interesting and very quiet. Not too many people in the area, and very few cars. The usual sketchy street people, though, but harmless.
--So I took some CDs out of the library instead of books, as Emm recently posted. Me? Rip them for my collection? Of course not! How dare you think of such a thing!!!
--Supposed to be really nice weather this week. Should be sunny and in the mid-60s all week, from what KRON4 says. Can't complain there.
--Just heard moments ago on TV that Boris Yeltsin just died.
--On the writing front, I need to kick my own ass and get LLB moving. I really want to get this one moving soon. As for the sequel, I'm contemplating writing it on the Dana, as I haven't used it in awhile. We'll see what happens.
--Happy Monday, people!
