Aaaaand....ACTION!
Mar. 22nd, 2007 07:08 pmIt's times like this that I think I should probably put my name in as a production assistant for a film crew.
So here I am, taking the F train to work this morning, muttering to myself that I really should put more songs on my mp3 player and trying to wake up, when I hear that the train will be stopping at the Ferry Building. That doesn't happen too often, and when it does, it's usually because there's something going on down Market Street, be it a protest, a march, an accident, or a fire. It's happened before, doesn't bother me...all I need do is walk down the street a bit to the Embarcadero Station MUNI stop and take a train down to Van Ness.
So what's blocking the street this time?
Filming for Journeyman, a TV pilot about a guy who goes back in time to save people. From what I saw, this guy was walking down the middle of Market towards the Ferry Building (and the street was surprisingly empty, which of course makes no sense :p ), and had an F train coming towards him, like it was going to run him over.
So yeah, if you happen to see this on TV at some point, remember that scene--I'm probably not in it, but I was on the right side of the street walking to work at that point! :p
ETA: Just did a bit of interweb searching...looks like it's going to be a pilot for NBC, not sure if it'll be a summer replacement or a fall-season show...
