I can't believe it. I actually finished pretty much everything I needed to finish off, and not a moment too soon! Emm sez in her post that the movers want to get everything done TODAY, and I can't say I blame them as I wouldn't want to contend with the Hills of Boonton post-snowfall while driving a MOVING TRUCK.

So yeah. The cd rip/purge went well. There's only about a dozen or so cds that I didn't get to, but that's much better than where I was at before. I also managed to get a good 500+ songs onto my mp3 player (including the entire Beatles catalog minus compilations but plus the dozen or so "unreleased" songs snagged from the Anthology comps). And being that the movers are going to be packing EVERYTHING for us, I'm not too worried about doing that myself. It's going to be weird not using my own computer for about a week or so, but since we have the new laptop, I can still do some writing and stuff. And if I need tunage I can always sign onto Launchcast, which I haven't done in awhile. I'll have Lynxie's 'puter to use for the next few days until we fly out, so I won't be disconnected from everyone. Much. :p

Other than that, the move is going well so far. I just made it under the wire with everything I wanted to do to prepare for it.

So...

That's it.

Just a few more days and we're out of here.
