Monday Update...
Nov. 14th, 2005 01:30 pmAnd so...
...nothing yet. Emm has skittered off to her office to make an appearance, check her mail, and do other businessy-type things, leaving me to hang about and do some job and apartment research online while I wait for her to call.
The 2133 Stockton place does sound like a shoo-in, but we're just waiting to hear from the woman to see what she says. In the meantime, I just got a call from NorthPoint Apartments which is literally right down the street from that place, and we might set up a time to go see stuff there as well. As soon as I hear from her, we'll see if we want to set up a time to check that place out, perhaps later this afternoon.
In other news, it's a gorgeous day out today, a bit on the breezy side, but otherwise cool and nice. Denim jacket weather, I suppose... :)
Oh, forgot to tell you all about the most bizarre things we saw at Pier 39 yesterday: dueling college bands. Cal Tech and Stanford were duking it out in front of the Hard Rock Cafe, and I have to tell you that not only were they both great, they were both playing school band interpretations of popular songs. Hearing the horns play "Mr. Brightside" by the Killers just floored me... :) There's a little blurb for it here...
Oop! Emm just called, and she's about to head back. More later!
