Meanwhile...

Got another box full of folders to scan, so it looks as though another episode of Radio Radio is coming soon...

The other day I had yet another nostalgic moment when I decided to play around with Google Earth and follow the path I used to take from the record store in Marlborough all the way out to Amherst. Yeah, I used to make that trek every couple of weeks when I had the money so I could do a comic book run. I believe it was some time around 1997 or 1998 that I started doing that...so yeah, it was kind of neat following the trail and remembering some of the scenery as I floated over it... :p Come to think of it, that was a rather long drive, wasn't it? Hmm...

Anyhoo. While following this trek I've been listening to my refurbished MusicMatch, specifically songs from 1997, the first full year I was at HMV. Interesting to hear some of the songs I'd forgotten about...

Prime 80s Cinema!

I'm half tempted to watch Red Dawn tonight on Spike, if only for the reason that it was a movie that came out at the same time I'd started writing seriously. Never mind the fact that The Infamous War Novel and Red Dawn kinda sorta have similar plotlines: high schoolers thrown into World War III. Cheese? Sure, but it's cheese that makes me all warm and fuzzy with memories of writing the IWN. :)

Oh, and Spike's movie night will have none other than Corey Feldman co-hosting! WOOOOT! :p

(On a side note, I was listening to a lot of 80s classic rock today, so that must mean something...)
