Can't Get It Out of My Head

So.

Would it be considered ironic that for over the last two weeks, I've had ELO's "Can't Get It Out of My Head" stuck in my head? Not that I mind, it's just that it's been stuck there for longer than it should, and I'm not sure if I should be blaming Jeff Lynne for it or not. I did try the "play it so it won't be an earworm anymore" move, but it didn't work. I figure it'll go away on its own, perhaps if I end up hearing that car commercial with "Nth Degree" by Morningwood playing in the background enough times.

I figured you'd find some sort of internet article on it. I find it amusing that it was found on WebMD, though!

Good to know I don't have any of those really annoying top 10 songs stuck in my head, ever. For me, #s 2-10 seem to be the kind that you hear enough times that you can block it out.

Although I found out in college that "Girl from Ipanema" works wonders if you want to get something stuck in someone else's head...they just have to know the song, though.
