A Music Conundrum

jon_chaissonSo I found myself getting frustrated because I wanted to listen to music while writing last night but couldn't decide what. Emm was threatening to throw on music if I couldn't pick something, but in the end I found the new Editors cd to listen to and it worked.
Strange thing was that I was getting frustrated...almost as if I was getting sick of the stuff I already had. I think I'm on the verge of purging even more cds again...a lot of stuff I have I don't listen to much, and most of it is on my hard drive.
The good thing about this is that I have at least two places where I can trade them in for money or credit (Rasputin or Amoeba). I've decided that if I do this I'll sell stuff first and buy new stuff with that credit/money, that way I'm not spending more money than I have to. I'm thinking this way I can keep going with buying the new titles that I've been wanting to pick up but feeling guilty about spending money on. Fair trade, no? :) That, and I'll have new stuff to listen to while writing. A win-win situation all around!
