I just did laundry and forgot to take out my bus pass. Which is now DESTROYED.

On the lighter side, though, Emm gave me a card and some chocolates for Valentine's Day one day early. So that made me feel better. :)

Well, at least I lost the pass during the shortest month of the year. Guess I'll be feeding the change machine for the next few weeks... :p

I hate it when stuff gets mangled in the washer like that. Are they small enough to fit in the clear plastic picture sleeves that come with wallets?

Actually they are. I usually keep it in my wallet anyway, but had put it in my shirt pocket to as to not flash the wallet around in the middle of the city. I just forgot to take it out.

Good thing we have a whole dish of change I can use! :p

Take the plastic sleeve out of the wallet and keep the card in it separately. That way even if it goes through the wash in the future it is more likely to survive.

You could also look into a cheap business card holder if it is small enough.

I keep mine in the plastic sleeve my work ID badge is in (something I picked up from some coworkers), and since they are both important things I need daily it works out well.

I'm thinking the business card holder might not be a bad idea. Sort of flash it like a badge! :p

Just looked at the calendar and noticed that I only have to do it for ten more days and then I can buy a new one for March. So aside from wasting $45 (which is what I used to spend for cds and/or comics back in the day), it's not too big of a loss. :)
