An Unexpectedly Good Start to the Week
Jul. 9th, 2007 06:55 pm--Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix comes out this week
--New music by the following bands: Crowded House, Interpol, Spoon, They Might Be Giants, Bad Religion, Beatallica (please, check them out, it's worth it...no, really), Buffalo Tom, Ministry, and Reel Big Fish with the BEST. TITLE. EVAR.
Oh, and I have a new schedule starting TOMORROW.
Yes, that's right. After complaining all this time (and putting in the request to change, oh, I think sometime in February or March??), I get an email from the scheduling person asking if I was still interested in the 8am-4:30pm schedule. It was all I could do not to answer back with "oh HELL YES." ;) Which means:
--no more staying past 6 because of customers/branches calling at 5:59pm
--no more having dinner at 7:30pm
--more writing time at home
--more reliable commute (I hope)
--more time to do errands if need be
Yes, I'm happy about that, why do you ask? ;)

Date: 2007-07-10 02:57 am (UTC)(The bizarre trade-off, of course, being that early mornings are my prime writing hours, but I already get up at 4:30 just to get to work on time, so I have to do it in the afternoon-evenings. Well, nothing is perfect :D)

Date: 2007-07-10 04:07 am (UTC)Y'know, that's what I was thinking. Back when I was working at Yankee Candle my schedule was 6am - 2pm, so I had more than enough time during the latter half of the day to write. Perhaps now that I can do it again, maybe I'll return to my prime writing time of 7-9pm. :)
