day to day
Apr. 7th, 2022 07:50 am Today is my Friday. That is, I have tomorrow and Saturday off so I can relax! I'm actually kind of excited about it, as I haven't had two days off in a row these last few weeks. (My schedule has been more of a broken up two-days-on, one-day-off, three-days-on, one-day-off sort of thing lately.) Do I have plans? Yes! On Saturday afternoon A and I will be going to lunch and a play downtown. And tomorrow I might head to Amoeba Records for some music and dvd shopping therapy, heh.
Speaking of work, hopefully the boss will be posting the new schedule at some point today, as I do not yet have the access online to see it. Not sure who I need to contact to fix that, but I do need to call HR anyway to set a few other things up, so hopefully they can do it or point me in the right direction. And yes, I'm hoping next week's schedule is just as workable as this week's was!
Anyhoo. If I'm learning anything at this Current Day Job, it's that it's probably good and healthy that I'm relearning how to interact with other people in person again. And that I've always kind of enjoyed it, really! I mean, as much as I would love another remote job, maybe it's also good that I've put myself back out there to remember how other people live. It's kind of eye-opening, to be honest. And so much different than just interacting with people online.
