Apr. 10th, 2005 12:37 pmJust kickin' around, listening to/watching The Alternative on VH1 Classic. They're playing The House of Love's "Feel" right now. This show is great in that it sometimes has an underlying theme that they don't really mention--today it seems as though they're playing a lot of 1990-1992 stuff (with a few early 80s vids mixed in to trip us up). Ah, the stuff of my college years...all of it, actually. Listening to WFNX and hearing the pre-Britpop, Madchester and shoegaze in amongst the grunge. Ah, memories.
Gonna go see Sin City this afternoon. I know, I spent gobs of money yesterday, but what the hey, it's a movie and it's a nice day to be outside doing something istead of hanging out in the bedroom all day.
btw, thinking of picking up Decline and Fall again. Haven't done anything with that in ages and I've been having a lot of urges to write that again. I even picked up a notebook (yeah, I know--like I need another one... :p ) for it. And like I said once to Emm, now that that chapter of my life is finally over, I know how the story ends, so I can write it now with a clear mind. :) We'll see what happens...
