Actually, it wasn't so much torture as it was an oddly pleasant surprise. Emm and I are walking through Trader Joe's today, when "Don't Let's Start" comes on, but not the TMBG version. It's by a band called Common Rotation (find info on them here and a soundbite here...). Sort of a folksy, countryish cover...quite interesting. And apparently they've toured with TMBG quite a bit...

It sounds like one of those moments where you stop stock-still in the middle of a crowded Trader Joe's, head tilted to the side, with a look of "what-the-?" on your face...and then that lady who's trying to get to the tomatoes gives you an exasperated overly-loud sigh and noodges you with her cart...

Actualloy it was in the frozen foods aisle. :-)
I'm betting people were more disturbed by my singing and dancing along.
