Floodland and Driven Apart

Is the water up to your room yet?

Nope, not yet. What's funny is that the Mighty Millers did this a few years back when there was another ice jam in about the same place. You'd think they'd have done something about it by now...

Then again, this is Athol, where nothing happens without Concerned Taxpayers bitching about it.

And when somebody proposes something to do about it the COncerned Taxpayers balk at taxpaying :)

So you email me repeatedly during the day, and don't mention that your town is flooding? You have odd priorities.
And you need to move someplace safe from flooding. Like the lofty hills of Boonton(motto: "Was that Rtrockel I just saw floating pastr the Walmart?").

Uh oh. Didn't mean to get you in dutch with the missus...

btw - the fact that the Athol Daily News CHARGES now to view their stories online is the most pathetic thing I have ever seen!

Yeah, considering that 80% of the paper is AP stories, anyway...

I don't want to pay to read the ADN, but man, I do need my Henry fix... ;)

Not too cute is where it comes from... ;)

(Well, depends on if you have a twisted sense of humor or not...)

Hee! :)

Seriously, I have no problem with flooding, as my house sits on top of a hill at the other end of town...if I was in danger, this town would be in serious trouble... ;)

Besides, it's just one small corner near downtown and I believe it's already been fixed...

I still have yet to have proof of the "hills" of Boonton.
