Hmm...Powell and 3 others leaving the Bush cabinet. So what do you think--are they jumping ship? Sure, the usual line is "I've decided to spend more time with family and private endeavors," but given how things were run over the last four years, I'm wondering...

I think that Powell is tired of being treated like a second class citizen, not to mention publically embarrassed. As for the others(esp. Ashcroft), many of them are very unpopular and probably wouldn't be able yo get confirmed again.....
Now I just need to find Rice and shake some sense into her. Have some PRIDE , woman!!

Bait and Switch

Powell's leaving has been foreshadowed at least since he admitted he was mislead, about 8 months ago. Rice already has been named. This is called the cabinet Cha-Cha. But if a store did it with coupons, it would be called the old Bait and Switch.

Voters voted for a team,and look what they're getting.

Actually, we don't know what they are getting.
