CRISIS AVERTED.

After two months, ilovepeanutbutter.com has finally come through with their backorder.

I NOW HAVE FLUFF.

That is all.

Oh, and thanks to my sister Nancy for the Patti Page Maple Syrup! Yum! :)

EDIT: Thanks to [profile] emmalyon , here's a picture with the Fluff and syrup!   And yes, that is the Patti Page. ;)

We have 2 BIG containers of it. I think we're good. :-)

Oh, crap, I completely forgot that I was going to send you some. I sucks lots. :(

I'm sorry. But I'm glad you got it!!!

That's okay...I think my family is sending more, so we'll be quite stocked with the stuff when the Apocalypse comes. ;)

You can NEVER have too much Fluff. :p

Damn straight! ;)

BTW, I told a few of my coworkers I was going to make them fluffernutters tomorrow, they're quite happy about that...

chunky or smooth peanutbutter? I was always partial to chunky, but know people who swear by smooth.

[identity profile] joncwriter.livejournal.com 2007-08-22 02:52 am (UTC)(link)
I like both, but usually have smooth because no one else likes chunky! :p

Okay, now I'm going to HAVE to make a fluffernutter tomorrow...I wonder how many points those are?

They're no worse than PBJ. Use WW (or other 'light' bread). Go light on the PB, and then use serving size of fluff. You can have one for about 5 points. Which is similar to most sandwiches. Add a glass of skim milk and an apple, and you're back in elementary school for 8 points, including a milk serving and a fruit/veggie serving. That's not so bad. Add a Kudos bar or Halloween-size candy bar for 2 more points if you need dessert (do check the labels though, some Kudos/candy are more than 2 points - Kudos PB, Reese's PB cups, for ex.).

will also gladly supply fluff. it goes fast if you make the amazing (and truly 'never fail') fudge recipe on the back - it's great for gifts for co-workers at x-mas, because it makes 5 lbs (2 9x9 pans), which can then be divvied up. Wrap in sparkly colored plastic wrap (possibly in wax paper first), et voila!

Oh, and for truly impressive fudge, add cherry juice and quartered marashino cherries when you add the chocolate chips - cherry chocolate fudge!

Are you trying to seduce my husband, woman?? :-)

[identity profile] sleeping-dragon.livejournal.com 2007-08-23 03:42 pm (UTC)(link)
OF COURSE NOT! Simply suggesting an additional way for you to do so (you know, if you want to go beyond the basic being yourself thing). LOL
