For the IT people out there...

McAfee Site Advisor is not being nice to me.

Here's the situation--it's a simple program that comes with all the other McAfee stuff, and for the longest time it's worked fine...but recently I've been getting hit with a "SiteAdvisor is experiencing a problem and needs to close" warning whenever I open up a new window or tab. This doesn't always happen, just recently.

I've done the following:
--tried disabling it on the msconfig
--disabling it when I use IE (it automatically opens back up with every new window, though, and that kind of cheeses me off)
--talking to a McAffee tech online (doing so right now)
--restarting the computer (this works, but it's a pain in the butt)
--reinstalling the program, and even running a diagnostic (it found it was missing a dat file, but that was before the reinstall)

Any comments or suggestions? Please?

My suggestions: Don't use McAfee.

Get Avast! It's free and much better :)

I don't think it's the program, as I have exactly the same and have had no problems, ever.
