Look at your LJ userpics list. If you have fewer than 50 icons, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five icons, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five icons, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em. List them on your LJ, and tell everyone exactly why you have it, why it's interesting to you, what significance does it have.

Snagged from Diesel Sweeties. This one I usually use if I'm doing some sort of music-related post or comment. I have no idea why this is my only general music-related icon (aside from the Beatles icons), I must fix that...

Ringo from A Hard Day's Night. One of a set of four from that film. I love how each member has a different expression, so I sometimes use this as an "O NOES!!1!" icon. Again, I'm surprised I don't have more Beatle-centric icons!!

Stan Brakhage. He was a great experimental filmmaker whose films may not have been completely brilliant, but they were sure fascinating to watch. I studied him at college and I use this when I'm talking about film-centric stuff.

emmalyon and I commissioned
dhio to do for our marriage reception party. She was gracious enough to create an icon for us as a gift, which I use when I post all the lovey-dovey stuff about Emm and I. ;)

This is a picture from the anime Patlabor which Emm and I watched religiously on AZNtv when we first moved here. I don't use this as much as I should, but it's a wonderful buh? shot of Noa's patlabor.

Those who know me know my particular love for Archie Comics. Jughead is for my "yeah whatever" slacker responses (although, again, I don't use it as much as I should), whereas my Archie icon is more often used for my "rather annoyed" comments/posts.

Made when I realized I didn't have a sufficient eating-centric icon. Calvin's distorted face whenever he burped never failed to amuse me. :)

Okay, so apparently no one gets this joke, so I'll explain: it's from The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, in particular the Mommie Fiercest episode in which Billy, Mandy and Irwin want to see a movie about exploding penguins, whereas Billy's mom wants him to go see a Disneyesque movie about a kid climbing a mountain...on the way he meets an alpaca (thus pointing at it and saying "I just met an alpaca!!"). I've been saying that whenever Emm and I go yarn shopping ever since. And yeah, it's basically for my sillier posts. :p

I'd completely forgotten I made this and never uploaded it until recently. It's Gendo from one of the most messed-up-yet-fascinating anime, Neon Genesis Evangelion. I think I'll use it for any "...and my work here is done" posts/comments I may encounter... :p
