In the excitement of Record Store Day and the frustration of weird things going on with my PC, I completely forgot that the 17th was my sister's birthday. D'OH!!

Keith Elam, aka Guru, passed away yesterday at 43 from cancer.

Once a member of Gang Starr, he released four volumes of damn fine rap-jazz albums called Jazzmatazz that are well worth checking out.

OK, well, perhaps THAT's the problem.

I'm wondering if the cd/dvd drive (or the driver for it) is hosed, because after fixing EVERYTHING, it's still happening. And hey, I ran the Device manager for it? And *it* is now stuck in "Not Responding"!

This is really starting to PISS ME OFF now. This should NOT be happening four months after buying this PC.
