I just heard that Evan Hunter, aka Ed McBain died today. Sorry to hear of his passing...he was a great writer both as Ed and as Evan. Highly suggested that you read some of his earlier, non-87th Precinct books like Blackboard Jungle and Mothers and Daughters. A brilliant writer all around.

Why am I amused that someone here has the same name as the lead singer of REO Speedwagon?

And why am I worried that I know the lead singer's name to begin with?
